What do you want to achieve when you are 25?
I am striving to develop a career as an actress, singer or model using social media or online platforms. I am working towards building a bigger audience; looking for opportunities to travel the world and develop greater understanding of different cultures.

Fav. Miss Chinese Vancouver and why:
Maria Rincon. I respect how pure and genuine she is. Besides, being raised in a multicultural household and bilingual at a very young age makes her very inspirational for many mixed babies like me. I relate with her and her lifestyle greatly.
Your female role model and why:
My Mom has always been my role model. I truly admire her independence and courage for venturing to Canada from Hong Kong all by herself. She taught me to have strong values and ethics. I know she sacrificed a lot and conquered many challenges to allow me to understand both Asian and Western cultures. She gives encouragements to me on all the decisions I make and is my number one supporter and life coach.
What is the most beautiful object or incident in the world?
Selfless acts of kindness but not demanding for any credit or anything in return.
Which body parts are you most satisfied with?
I’ve always been confident with myself and promoted body positivity. Therefore, I see myself being born with Heterochromia through a positive lens. I love having two different coloured eyes as they are the window to my soul.
Do you have any expectations towards the Pageant?
I am hoping to further my performance and communication skills as this platform provides huge networking opportunities. Being the youngest amongst the 10, I am absorbing as much knowledge as I can from the big sister figures.
What areas do you want to better yourself?
Being a perfectionist, I am trying to not be hard on myself and critiquing everything because it is important to let lose sometimes and understand we are all only human. I am learning Cantonese and writing Chinese to expand my knowledge as well.
Reasons for joining the Pageant:
I have been subconsciously preparing for my whole life and I couldn’t wait any longer to start this incredible journey. I am exposed to new experiences and learning opportunities.
Why do you think you will excel at this Pageant and be “The One” for Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant?
I was the first female president of a volunteering club in my high school. I find joy in giving back to the community. Alongside my strong work ethics, cultural diversity, maturity, perseverance, patience and goals, I believe I have what it takes to succeed.
If you won this contest, how, as Miss Chinese Vancouver, would you contribute to the society and the world?
I wish to speak with the youth and give guidance to our future generations. I will use my experiences to find their potentials and be their role model. I believe that I can help every single person find their purpose and sharing my personal experiences could change their perspectives.
